Designed and developed ultraclean,
high vacuum pumping systems to activate and test metal hydride sorbent
beds to support the fabrication of flight hardware for a Sorption Cryocooler
project.
- Removed contaminants during vacuum
treatments and monitored contamination using residual gas analyzers

using this equipment for closed-cycle Joule-Thomson refrigerators
to cool high-sensitivity detectors to temperatures below 19 K by
